The Homestead Grays were a professional baseball team that played in the Negro leagues. The team formed in 1912 and remained active for 38 seasons. They disbanded in 1950 following the collapse of the Negro league. have produced an authentic replication of this cap, which commemorates their sterling 1931 season in which they won the league for the first time in the team’s history. The cap has a 100% wool upper with horsehair buckram crown, satin taping and felt emblem with a leather strap adjustable closure at the back.
